Employee Spotlight – Jacqui Kolle

Jacqui Kolle is a Pod Leader at Breakwater Accounting + Advisory, bringing strong technical expertise and approachable leadership to the team. Originally from Aston, Pennsylvania — a proud Delco native — Jacqui now lives in Wilmington, Delaware. They earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Delaware, building the foundation for a dynamic and well-rounded career in finance.

Before joining Breakwater, Jacqui worked as a CPA in public accounting, where they developed deep experience in financial reporting, compliance, and client service. They later served as a Director of Finance for a homebuilder, gaining hands-on leadership experience and strategic insight into operational finance. This blend of public accounting and industry leadership allows Jacqui to guide clients with both precision and big-picture perspective.

At Breakwater, Jacqui’s favorite part of the firm is the flexibility and the people. They value working in an environment that supports both professional excellence and personal balance, while being surrounded by teammates who are collaborative, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. That combination makes leading a pod both rewarding and impactful.

Outside of work, Jacqui enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with their dogs, Colby and Finn. When it’s time to unwind, Ocean City, New Jersey is their go-to beach destination. We’re grateful for the experience, energy, and leadership Jacqui brings to Breakwater each day.
