Breakwater is not only taking care of clients’ accounting and bookkeeping – we are going even further to examine how we can help streamline our clients’ processes. One of the ways we are able to improve workflow efficiency is through the implementation of technology in various areas, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, time tracking, expense management, and more.
We are constantly researching and assessing new technologies in order to stay up to date so that our clients don’t have to. Our Technology Implementation team does its due diligence to find the best of the best solutions to provide our clients – but only where they need it.
During onboarding for a new client, we listen to their needs and analyze their existing operations before presenting them with our customized recommendations. For current clients, Breakwater will identify pain points of both the client and the account team. Once those areas have been identified and communicated internally, the Technology Implementation team is brought in to discuss business objectives and tools we can offer. The Tech team presents the tools to the client through discussions and demonstrations, all while their account team continues managing their day to day work. Our goal is to present our clients with as much detailed information as possible, allowing them to feel comfortable and confident that they are making an informed decision.
