From wrangling all associates, specialists, and managers…to planning for clients and being a bridge between onboarding and ongoing….Lori Yoder is all over Breakwater and we are thankful for her!
Can you quickly describe yourself?
I graduated from Rowan University with a bachelors in accounting. I have a passion for learning new things, unraveling puzzles and helping others. I have 20 years of accounting experience which ranges from public, corporate, non profit and audit, both internal and external. I live in Sewell, NJ with my husband, Ken and I love to read, and especially love spending time down the shore. That is of course, when I’m not running my two very active boys to all of their sporting events.
What is your favorite part of working at Breakwater?
I love the people at breakwater. From the very first moment I stepped through the door for my interview, I knew I found my home. Everyone is focused on our clients’ success and always lifting each other up. We are one big family and our culture is one to be admired.
What is a Breakwater memory that will always make you smile?
Before my interview, I was a nervous wreck, who isn’t? Everyone that was in the office that day welcomed me and introduced themselves before I even got to meet Lee. Lee and I sat and chatted and it felt like chatting with an old friend. I started not long after and haven’t looked back!
