Lee Podolsky

Lee Leonard Podolsky, founder and owner of Breakwater Accounting + Advisory, grew up in Wilmington, DE .

She has over 25 years of experience in Accounting, Auditing, Marketing, and Business Management. Lee began her career in DuPont Finance, visiting sites across a wide array of business segments, and spent five years in DuPont Medical Products in Sales and Marketing.

Upon the birth of her oldest daughter, Lee volunteered for a variety of charitable organizations as treasurer and in event planning roles. Lee also handled the bookkeeping for her father’s consulting business. After the birth of her second daughter, she became involved in streamlining back offices of small business start-ups and completed more advanced

accounting courses at University of Delaware. During this time, she also took on small business clients as a freelance accountant. Over the past 15 years, she has worked primarily with retail, non-profit, and professional service clients.

Lee graduated from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with a B.S. In Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
